Skydance Paramount Set to Remove Around 2,000 United States Roles – News

Skydance Paramount is scheduled to begin significant workforce reductions the week of 27 October, removing approximately 2,000 American roles as part of a cost-cutting plan valued at $2bn led by top executive David Ellison.

The workforce reduction come after the union between Skydance Media and Paramount Global, finalized during August valued at $8.4bn.

More international job cuts are likely, with the company intending to disclose all specifics in its Q3 financial results scheduled for November 10.

Earlier reports suggested the firm aimed to eliminate from 2,000 and 3,000 roles before the start of November.

By December 2024, the organization retained about 18,600 permanent and temporary staff plus 3,500 project-based staff.

Paramount Skydance has not yet commented regarding the report.
